Hopevale, Inc. takes great pride in its employees. We are always recruiting for the following positions:

CHILD CARE WORKER & NIGHT ATTENDANT 

  • Full time, part time and substitute positions available.
  • Afternoon, weekend and evening shifts available.
  • Previous experience with adolescents required, along with the ability to work with a diverse group of youth.
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills and present self as a positive role model for moral, legal and social behaviors.
  • Associates Degree preferred, but will consider a person with a high school education and appropriate background.
  • Competitive benefit packages offered, with enhanced weekend rates and paid training.
  • Valid New York State drivers license required.
SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE WORKER

We are now accepting applications for a  Substitute Food Service Worker.  Hours are Monday through Friday as needed.  Duties include preparing and serving food, as well as clean up and dishwasher operation.

Qualifications:
 - Graduation from High School or High School Equivalency Diploma.
 - Knowledge of Food Service helpful but not necessary.


SUBSTITUTE REGISTERED NURSE
(multiple positions available)

We are now accepting applications for Substitute Registered Nurses for evening and weekend shifts. There are currently no night shift positions available. Primary responsibilities include administration of medications and basic first aid.

CHIEF FISCAL OFFICER:  As a member of the senior management team, will develop and oversee all fiscal operations of the agency, as well as develop budgets and other business reports.
Qualifications:
- CPA or Master's Degree in Accounting, finance or related area preferred
- Appropriate experience in financial/administrative capacity required, preferably in a not-for-profit setting

CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER: NON-SECURE DETENTION PROGRAM
Responsibilities:
 -
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of residents to comply with OCFS
- Assess needs of residents and their families for proper referrals (i.e., Wraparound, functional family therapy, substance abuse counseling)
- Develop discharge plans based on the identified needs of residents and their families in accordance with the non-secure detention case conference committee.
- Attend weekly cArrange court ordered appouiounty case conferences.
 - Conduct lethality assessment when necessary with proper referrals of increased supervision, mental health evaluation and provide safety plans.
- Approve and schedule visitation appointments with families.
- Approve telephone contacts.
- Arrange court-ordered appointments and transport (i.e., psychiatric/counseling, substance abuse, probation and clinical evaluations).
- Devise and implement behavioral plans when necessary.
- Facilitate conflict resolution, when necessary.

Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work and LCSW required, with 3 years experience working with high-risk youth.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and present positive interactive skills with adolescents.
- Ability to present self as a positive role model for youth.
- Ability to carry out administrative directives and court orders.
- Abilty to act as a liaison between Hopevale, Erie County Family Court and other organizations.
- Valid NYS Driver's license.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all staff and assist with making appropriate situational decisions.
- All other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
