Hopevale, Inc. takes great pride in its employees. We are always recruiting for the following positions:

CHILD CARE WORKER & NIGHT ATTENDANT 

  • Full time, part time and substitute positions available.
  • Afternoon, weekend and evening shifts available.
  • Previous experience with adolescents required, along with the ability to work with a diverse group of youth.
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills and present self as a positive role model for moral, legal and social behaviors.
  • Associates Degree preferred, but will consider a person with a high school education and appropriate background.
  • Competitive benefit packages offered, with enhanced weekend rates and paid training.
  • Valid New York State drivers license required.
SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE WORKER

We are now accepting applications for a  Substitute Food Service Worker.  Hours are Monday through Friday as needed.  Duties include preparing and serving food, as well as clean up and dishwasher operation.

Qualifications:
 - Graduation from High School or High School Equivalency Diploma.
 - Knowledge of Food Service helpful but not necessary.

Behavioral Specialists: two (2) f/t positions in Non-Secure Detention Program --
                                      one (1) position - Th-Sat, 4pm-12am; Sun & Mon, 3:30pm-11:30pm
                                      one (1) position Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-11:30pm
Qualifications:
 - Must possess excellent communication skills and present positive interactive skills with adolescents
- Knowledge of child development, psychology and crisis intervention
- Ability to present self as a positive role model for youth
- Ability to carry out administrative directives; maintain a strict and structured environment of the Detention Cente.
- Valid NYS Drivers License
- Assist youth in activities of daily living and maintenance of clean living environment.
- Assist in afternoon court runs, courthouse pick ups, parent transports for visitations and any other program routines.
- Follow any and all directives given by Program Supervisor.

Counselor
Trauma caseworker in a residential treatment center setting for adolescents. Counseling and case management responsibilities. Master's degree in human service field.
